Covid-19 Update – July 2019

We will periodically update this page with developments regarding the way conferences are being prepared for 2020.

Events scheduled for March to July 2020

We would like to thank conference participants to ICTR, ICGR, ECRM, ECCWS and ECSM for their contribution in making the first five virtual conferences of 2020 a great success. The conferences ran using Zoom, presentations were made by conference participants, keynotes and expert panellists and interactive networking sessions were well received.

Events Scheduled for September-December

2-3 September

ECKM 2020 has been postponed until 3-4th December 2020. At this time, we hope to be able to run a physical conference, but we appreciate that even if this is possible there will be some people who will not be able to travel to the UK to participate. Therefore, we will offer interactive virtual participation.

International Conference on Knowledge Management in Asia Pacific (IKMAP), Sydney, Australia

3-4 December

IKMAP 2020 has been postponed, a new date to be released at a later time. Papers submitted to the conference have been invited to submit to the European Conference on Knowledge Management (ECKM).

Events Scheduled for 2021

Moving into next year we are planning to return to physical events at the host universities. We know however that the events of this year have had longer lasting impacts on participants ability and willing to travel for events. We are therefore planning for conferences moving forward to be “hybrid” in essence. Meaning that they will be physical events with virtual elements built into them to create an experience for both those who can attend in person and those able to attend online.
