5th International Conference on AI Research
11 - 12 December 2025, Italy
University of Genoa, Italy
Welcome to ICAIR 2025
The International Conference on AI Research (ICAIR 2025) has developed into a key forum for academics and students, whether social scientists, natural scientists or philosophers come together to explore the future of society in the context of AI and Robotics. Many aspects of AI are now the subject of peer reviewed academic research, including the increasing use of Chatbots and GenAI in academe and in society at large. This conference is interested in all aspects of artificial intelligence as it affects society, education and the workplace. Topics from machine learning, deep learning and neural networks to building a business case for AI implementation, and the risks, social and ethical implications are welcome. The conference is also interested in discussing the dangers posed by AI as well as what can be done to minimise the use of this powerful technology by malicious actors.

Personal Message
Dear all, I am very pleased to host the 5th International Conference on Ai Research at the University of Genova. UniGe is one of the most important universities in Italy, and AI is one of the main topics of excellent research activities. UniGe is home to the Genoa ELLIS unit, aiming at promoting synergies between core machine learning research and specific application areas of science and engineering, particularly robotics, natural intelligence and health informatics. Moreover, UniGe is the main partner of the RAISE project, financed by the Ministry of University and Research (MUR) which envisages the creation and strengthening of innovation ecosystems , promoting and strengthening collaboration between the research system, the production system and territorial institutions. I am looking forward to welcoming you to UniGe and the beautiful city of Genova for ICAIR 2025.
