Welcome to ECRM 2020
The European Conference on Research Methodology for Business and Management Studies was established 19 years ago. This event has been held in countries across Europe, including Ireland, England, France, Malta, Portugal, Spain to mention only a few of the countries who have hosted it. The conference is generally attended by participants from more than 25 countries. The Electronic Journal of Business Research Methods (indexed by Scopus) publishes a special edition of the best papers presented at this conference.
The conference will once again play host to the Innovation in Teaching of Research Methodology Excellence Awards
ECRM is an event which brings like-minded researchers together from across the world. This year the global covid-19 pandemic has caused the event to move online where participants will meet in a virtual space to share their research and discuss the issues closest to research methodology.
Personal Message from the Conference Chairs
We are looking forward to welcoming participants to the University of Aveiro, Portugal on the 18-19 June 2020 for the 19th European Conference on Research Methodology for Business and Management Studies. We have been followers of the conference for many years and have always enjoyed the opportunity to share ideas and network with a diverse group of ECRM participants. This year in Aveiro we are excited to showcase our diverse city and institution.

Papers accepted for the ECRM after the double-blind peer review process, will be published in the conference proceedings, subject to author registration and payment. The conference proceedings have an ISSN ( 2049-0968) and will be assigned an ISBN on publication. Additionally, papers that have been presented at the conference will also be considered for further development an possible publication in the journals listed below. Note that journal editors are provided with the conference proceedings and will make selections if they feel work is appropriate and of sufficient quality for the journal. If invited to publish in a journal authors will be expected to develop the work by 40-50%, including a change of title and abstract. Individual journal procedures will need to be followed and there is no guarantee of publication.
