The European Conference on Research Methodology for Business and Management Studies was established 17 years ago. This event has been held in countries across Europe, including Ireland, England, France, Malta, Portugal, Spain to mention only a few of the countries who have hosted it. The conference is generally attended by participants from more than 25 countries. The Electronic Journal of Business Research Methods (indexed by Scopus) publishes a special edition of the best papers presented at this conference. ECRM 2018 is being held at the University of Roma TRE, Rome, Italy where the Conference Co-Chairs are Professor Paola Demartini and Professor Michela Marchiori. ECRM 2018, for the first time features Interventionist Research (IVR), a methodological approach to doing field research in business, management, and accounting across public, private and not-for-profit sectors. This conference aims to provide a multidisciplinary forum for the discussion of IVR to deepen existing theoretical insights, and to contribute to the relatively scarce empirical evidence on the use of IVR.
The conference will once again play host to the Innovation in Teaching of Research Methodology Excellence Awards
