21st European Conference on Cyber Warfare and Security
16 - 17 June 2022, Chester, UK
ACI is taking a hybrid approach towards conferences this year. We are planning to run our series of conferences as physical events with the option for participants to join virtually. If, when it draws close to the time of the event we are unable to meet in person due to COVID-19 restrictions the conference will move fully into the virtual format. We urge you to continue to submit your abstracts and papers in line with the published dates (extensions will be granted on request). Welcome to ECCWS 2022
It is now 21 years since the European Conference on Cyber Warfare and Security (ECCWS) was established. It has been held in Ireland, Germany, Finland, Estonia, Greece, Portugal, to mention only a few of the countries which have hosted it. This conference attracts an interesting combination of academic scholars, military personnel, practitioners and individuals who are engaged in various aspects of the cyber security community. ECCWS is generally attended by participants from more than 30 countries. The Journal of Information Warfare regularly publishes a number of the papers presented at this conference.

Personal Message from the Conference Chairs
For the past two conferences, the Covid pandemic made it impossible for us to meet in person. However, I believe that we did have great experiences in both virtual conferences. Here is another opportunity to have a ‘physical’ ECCWS and we at the University of Chester are delighted to host this conference. We continue our push in building a strong base for teaching and research in cyber security, here in Chester, especially through collaborations. Collaboration is key to bringing together all the interested entities and individuals. For us, this is a great opportunity to network with relevant researchers and practitioners in our fantastic university facility.
We are very much looking forward to welcoming you in person Dr Thaddeus Eze.
