The Campus is located near the famous Oxford University, which is a bonanza for anyone who wants to acquire an international cultural orientation and take courses that are taught entirely in English.
The closeness to London and the City, London’s unparalleled financial district, further add to the reasons to come to the Campus, where you will be welcomed at the premises of the City of Oxford College (Activate Learning), near to the Oxford’s historic centre.
In order to give the best learning conditions to an ever-increasing number of students (180 registered for 2018-2019), the Oxford Campus is extending its premises by a further 200 m2. This extension is welcome as it has allowed setting up two more lecture rooms and a new catering area, the installation of a co-working area for students and an area for Student Societies.
This city of 153,000 inhabitants is famous for its university, the oldest and most renowned in the English-speaking world. It was home to some of the greatest authors of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, including Oscar Wilde, JRR Tolkien, and Lewis Carroll. Today, 42,000 students study there in its various colleges and universities in an environment that is sure to nurture your own success.
The multiple activities on offer also make the city an attractive destination, with museums, boat trips, film sets (Harry Potter at Oxford University), cultural activities (theatres, cinemas, concerts, and more) as well as an active nightlife. It is also an ideal base from which to explore England and its varied landscapes. More information here: http://www.visitoxford.org/
