Nicosia, the largest city and capital of the island of Cyprus, is home to many beautiful landmarks that represent the island’s fascinating history. As an island of mixed faith, Cyprus and all of its towns contain beautiful historical relics of Islamic and Christian origin. There a lot of things you won’t want to miss in Nicosia, from ancient monuments to exquisite galleries. Some of the things recommended to explore in Nicosia are: walk the streets of the Old Town, enjoy a Cypriot meal and discover Nicosia’s museums.
