Nicosia, the largest city and capital of the island of Cyprus, is home to many beautiful landmarks that represent the island’s fascinating history. As an island of mixed faith, Cyprus and all of its towns contain beautiful historical relics of Islamic and Christian origin. There a lot of things you won’t want to miss in Nicosia, from ancient monuments to exquisite galleries. Some of the things recommended to explore in Nicosia are: walk the streets of the Old Town, enjoy a Cypriot meal and discover Nicosia’s museums.

Getting to ECDG

Nearest international Airports:
Ercan International Airport   (ECN / LCEN) is in Northern Cyprus. This airport has international flights and is 31 km from the centre of Nicosia. EU citizens do not need a visa.
Larnaca International Airport (LCA / LCLK) is in Southern Cyprus and is 51 km from Nicosia. EU citizens do not need a visa.  Border crossing can take 30-40 minutes and taxi from airport to the conference is recommended, using the border crossing at Kermia.
