Dr. Paul Griffiths
Although Dr. Paul Griffiths is a generalist who has been exposed to major
challenges in a broad spectrum of industries, his main professional area of
interest, as a Partner with The Birchman Group, is in helping organisations
align their business strategy and technology. From this position he has
evolved to becoming a thought-leader on managing knowledge in organisations,
and also to publishing in the field of Corporate Social Responsibility. One
of his main interests is to take ideas from the academic world and put them
to work for practitioners.

Paul Griffiths

Paul was a pioneer of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) project
wave in the early 1990s, and led projects in this area for most of that
decade. During that period he was a Partner with a Big-4 management
consulting firm, and in that role assisted some forty organisations located
in Spain, Switzerland and almost every country
throughout Latin America, in the development
of major business transformation projects enabled by technology. He holds a
Master of Engineering degree from the University
of Sheffield; a doctorate in
Business Administration from Brunel University; and an Advanced Postgraduate Diploma in
Management Consultancy from Henley
Management College.
He was awarded a one-year Humphrey Fellowship (Fulbright Commission) to
research into the impacts of Leadership and Change in organisations at the
Carlsen School of Management and at the Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs,
University of Minnesota.

Professor Patricio Donoso Ibáñez
Professor Patricio Donoso Ibáñez is Full Professor of Management and Director
of International Relations at the School
of Business of the
Universidad Católica de Chile. He has previously served as Associate
Professor and Director of Development at the same School, Associate and
Assistant Professor at the School of
Engineering, and Executive Director
of the Extension
Center at the same
University.

Patricio Donoso

His academic work is related with applied strategy and management
control systems, and also with operations, logistics and information
management, areas in which he has published several papers and monographs. He
is working on the book: “Operational Intelligence: a Process Design and

Dr Dan Remenyi:
Dr
Dan Remenyi is a Visiting Professor in Information Systems Management at the School of Systems
and Data Studies at Trinity College Dublin and an associated member of
Faculty at Henley Management College
in the United Kingdom.
His original academic interests are in the field of information systems
management and he has researched and been published widely in that area.

he has taken a strong interest in research methodology and the sociology of
research. He now works extensively with research candidates and their
supervisors at both doctoral and masters level. He conducts a number of
seminars to topics related to improving effective academic research and
obtaining better results. He has authored or co-authored more than 30 books
and some 50 academically refereed papers. He is published in all 4 of the A
rated Journals in the United
Kingdom in Information Systems Management.
He is on the Editorial Advisory Board of Acta Commercii (a general management
journal) and the Journal of Information Technology. He is the editor of the
Electronic Journal of Information Systems Evaluation and advisor to a number
of other electronic journals.

Dr. Miguel Nussbaum
Dr. Miguel Nussbaum is a full professor for Computer Science at the School of
Engineering of the Catholic University (Pontifica Universidad Catolica) of
Chile; a member of the board of the Chilean National Foundation for Science,
FONDECYT; a member of the "Regional Scientific Committee for Latin
America and the Caribbean, of the UNESCO Forum on Higher Education, Research
and Knowledge"; and winner of the Innovation in Education for the
Americas prize of the Organization of American States. His main lines of
research are the use of Ubiquitous Learning and Knowledge Management.

management and organisational learning. He has held top executive positions
in computer services and management consultancy firms. He is the president of

Fusiones y Adquisiciones” and the Independent Director of Interlace. He is a
