General information

SOPHIA ANTIPOLIS: EUROPE'S LARGEST TECHNOLOGY PARK
Sophia Antipolis is a multicultural, multidisciplinary community focused on innovation, which has served as the model for competitiveness clusters in France. It is home to the most forward-looking industries and value-creating businesses of the future, on the cusp of the knowledge economy.

Ahead of its time and in constant evolution, Sophia Antipolis is regarded as one of the world's most prestigious references for voluntary integrated economic development.

SOPHIA ANTIPOLIS: PARK AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT

The technology park adopts the latest urban planning strategies. A series of action plans is under way to revitalize the technology park with the renovation of existing districts, the design of mixed-use office/housing developments, the creation of a new St Philippe district and the launch of a local transport network.

Here, too, all new construction will meet sustainable development requirements and systematically take into account the recommendations of the Grenelle Environment Forum.

TALENT FOR TOMORROW'S TECHNOLOGIES
At Sophia Antipolis, the fabric of multinational companies, innovative SMEs and high-tech start-ups attract a community of talents, in which over 70 nationalities are represented. Sophia Antipolis' extraordinary human capital and vibrant professional networks promote synergy and cross-fertilization between the different fields of science and technology. The many training and higher education institutions such as SKEMA Business School, further reinforce synergy between academic research and business, through technology partnerships.

AN EXCITING ENVIRONMENT FOR RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT
Today, Sophia Antipolis is among the leading R&D hubs in Europe and remains as appealing as ever to companies and research facilities specialized in information technology, life sciences, environmental sciences and fine chemicals. The park includes eight competitiveness clusters and attracts a range of skills that is unique in Europe, alongside major public research organizations, such as INRIA Sophia Antipolis, INRA Sophia Antipolis and INSERM.
