The conference closed on 7 October 2011 and feedback has again been very positive. Congratulations to Danie du Toit, Theo Veldsman and Deon van Zyl for their co-authored PhD paper, awarded best in conference and to Mirjami Ikonen and Taina Savolainen whose poster was voted best poster at the conference. We extend our thanks to all who participants at the conference, both presenters and attendees and gratefully acknowledge the support of the Business School and the assistance provided by the programme chair and keynote speakers. The stream and mini track chairs are to be applauded for their efforts in ensuring that timekeeping requirements were respected by all participants and the chairs and discussants of the PhD Colloquium are thanked for their invaluable contribution to this important part of the conference.
