4th European Conference on Management Leadership and Governance

University of Reading, UK

27-28 November 2008

Conference Chair:        Malcolm Berry, University of Reading, UK

Programme Chair:        Ken Grant, Ryerson University, Canada

Keynote Speaker:         To be announced

The European Conference on Management Governance and Leadership (ECMLG 2008) invites researchers, academics, practitioners and others from all areas to come together to hear, present and discuss research. You can again expect to interact, both formally and informally, with colleagues from diverse backgrounds in a rich mixture of views; ground breaking concepts and controversial thinking. Supervisors are especially encouraged to bring their students, as in past years feedback has been strongly positive.

This 4th year of the conference will be held in the magnificent 640 acre Whiteknights Park at Reading University, UK. Reading is renowned as the key town in the Thames Valley high technology corridor. Consequently it is a hub of commercial and intellectual activity and provides an ideal context for ECMLG 2008.

Reading is a redbrick university founded in 1908.It is home to approximately 14,000 students from over 150 countries throughout the world and is ranked in the top ten research-intensive universities in the UK.

The conference venue is at the heart of the picturesque campus and has modern facilities and en suite rooms in one building. The blend of modern and traditional architecture is an evocative backdrop to our theme this year: sustainability.

For those more social moments, the town centre has a wide range of facilities and London is only a half hour train ride away. ECMLG 2008 expects to re-create the friendly, stimulating, critical and creative experience of previous years and further strengthen the reputation of this important conference series.

I’m sure that will you find the conference a great experience and I very much hope you will be able to join us at Reading University for ECMLG 2008!
