The 7th European Conference on Information Warfare
and Security will be held at the University
of Plymouth, on the south west
peninsula of the United
Kingdom.
The conference will address elements of both theory and practice of all
aspects of Information Warfare and Security, and offers an opportunity for
academics, practitioners and consultants involved in the domain to come
together and exchange ideas. The
programme for the event will include an extensive range of peer-reviewed
papers, including presentations from leaders in the field.
The university is situated in the centre of the historic city of Plymouth, which offers
an exciting blend of heritage and contemporary culture. In addition to the conference itself,
delegates will be able to enjoy the thriving city centre, the scenic
surroundings of Plymouth Hoe, and the Elizabethan streets of the Barbican
area. For those able to travel a
little further, Plymouth is within easy reach
of attractions such as the Dartmoor
National Park and the
internationally acclaimed Eden Project.
We hope that you will be able to be part of ECIW 2008 and we look forward to
welcoming you to Plymouth.
