Dr Catharina Candolin
Catharina Candolin is the R&D Director of SET-Security Oy, which is a Finnsh
company focusing on integrated security solutions. Prior to her current
position, she used to work as a project manager for a joint research project
with Helsinki University of Technology and the NationalDefenceCollege
in Finland.
She has done military research for the last six years focusing on future
military communication networks, network-centric warfare, information
warfare, and security. Catharina Candolin has also been lecturing on network
security and information warfare on corporate, military, and academic
seminars. She is also a member of the board of AFCEA Helsinki Chapter.

Jari Rantapelkonen Lieutenant
Colonel Jari Rantapelkonen has graduated from the FinnishMilitaryAcademy. His current
assignment is an Information Operations Instructor for the NationalDefenceCollege in Helsinki, Finland.
LTC Rantapelkonen has published widely writing books and articles on the
philosophy of military science, operations and tactics. He is finalizing a
PhD for the University of Helsinki and the NationalDefenceCollege from the
phenomenon of information warfare.

Dr. Tuija Kuusisto
Dr. Tuija Kuusisto works as an information management manager for C4
Division, National Defence Forces in Finland. She is an adjunct
professor in geoinformatics at Helsinki University of Technology and in
operations art and tactics at NationalDefenceCollege
in Finland.
Her research activities cover information flow management systems for
decision-making and geographic information management systems.

Kellner is the George F Kneller Chair Philosophy in Education at the Graduate
school of Education
and Information Studies at the University
of California, Los Angles, USA.
He has published extensively in the fields of philosophy, cultural studies
and social theory and more recently on the relevence of new technologies in
education, politics and everyday life.

Dr. Hannu H. Kari Dr. Kari works at Helsinki
University of Technology (HUT) as a professor on mobility and wireless
communication. His primary interest is to secure communication and decision
making in hostile wireless networks. E.g., a novel security architecture
(Packet Level Authentication, PLA) has been developed by his research group
to protect network infrastructures. Prof. Kari has been granted 28 patents on
the areas of telecommunications and wireless technologies.
