| The conference will be hosted by the Arcada University of Applied Sciences in Helsinki, Finland on 18-19 April 2011. You can find more details on the practical information page. Conference Status As the conference approaches, joining instructions are being prepared for each registered participant. You can download files above. These files will remain accessible until the end of the conference. Please note, if you need a certificate of attendance, you should download and complete the appropriate certificate and bring this with you to the conference for validation stamp.. Three keynote speakers have been confirmed. The opening Keynote will be given by Professor Pirjo Stahle of the Finland Futures Research Centre at the University of Turku, Finland. Professor Stahle will speak on how intellectual capital is creating our future. The second day will have two keynote speeches. The first, delivered by Dr Karl-Erik Sveiby of Hanken School of Economics, Helsinki, is titled "Challenging the Innovation Paradigm" and in the second speech Dr Markku T. Hyyppä will make some remarks on social, cultural and intellectual capital. Applications are being accepted to join the conference committee Note to Authors: Due to the large number of papers expected for this conference, the committee the committee prefers that an author presents only one paper. However, if multiple papers are accepted for publication and presentation, each paper requires a separate registration fee. Author registration and payment must be completed by 19 March 2012. | Publication opportunity Papers presented at the conference will be published in the conference proceedings subject to author registration and payment. Selected papers presented at the conference will also be considered for publication in a special issue of the Electronic Journal of Knowledge Management.
