| Dr Geoff Turner Dr Geoff Turner lives in Cyprus and is the Executive Director of the European Centre of Knowledge Management Research, which is hosted by the University of Nicosia. He is an Associate Professor at that University and for more than 20 years has been researching, teaching, practicing and advising internationally in the fields of accounting, financial management and performance measurement. His doctoral thesis examined the need for accounting for human resources in the context of intellectual capital management. |  Geoff Turner |
| Dr Clemente Minonne Dr Clemente Minonne lives in Switzerland and is a Research Associate at the European Centre of Knowledge Management Research, which is hosted by the University of Nicosia. He is a researcher, teacher and management advisor in the fields of information, innovation, knowledge and strategic management. For the last 19 years he has served in senior business and project management positions for various multinational companies and is presently a member of faculty at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences. | Dr John Girard John Girard is Professor of Management at Minot State University where he is actively engaged in academic research. He has written more than thirty articles and chapters for peer-reviewed or trade journals and books. John’s first book was an edited volume entitled Building Organizational Memories: Will you know what you knew? published by IGI Global in 2009. He is the coauthor of A Leader’s Guide to Knowledge Management: Drawing on the past to Enhance Future Performance, published by Business Expert Press in 2009. John speaks regularly on the subjects of knowledge management, transformation and innovation at events such as KM World, APQC’s Knowledge Management Conference, the World Congress on Intellectual Capital, KM Australia, KM Asia, and InfoVision (India). John has undertaken training and consulting assignments for clients such as the Canadian International Development Agency, U.S. Department of Labor, Ark Group Australia, Success Steps Saudi Arabia, Saline Water Conversion Corporation, High Commission for the Development of ArRiyadh and the Dubai Municipality. |  John Girard |
| Ludo Pyis Ludo Pyis is the founder of AREOPA, a management consulting group specialising in change management, intellectual capital accounting, and learning and knowledge management. He speaks regularly on these topics, especially intellectual capital accounting. Ludo was a member of the European Commission Expert Group on the Valuation of Intangible Assets, which produced the Ricadis Report in 2006 and is a visiting Professor at several international universities. |  Ludo Pyis |
| Dr Helen Paige Dr Helen Paige is the Founder and Director of The Paige Group, Adelaide, Australia. She holds an EdD from the Flinders University in South Australia. She was the Academic Director of the Master of Entrepreneurship at the University of Adelaide, and has lectured at the three South Australian universities in a variety of topics including Leadership, HRM and Management. With more than 20 years in corporate education, Helen has her own consultancy business, Advance Knowledge Networks, and consults in applied knowledge management, facilitation of World Knowledge Cafes, strategic business management, change management, and independent chairing and facilitation. She is also the Founder of a creative business – Fun.Food.Focus – which combines learning, training and educating through ‘hands on’ cooking. Helen’s research interests encompass a wide range of topics including – leadership, values and ethics; the knowledge-based economy and evaluating executive coaching as an executive learning tool. She is an internationally published author and a regular contributor to The Advertiser newspaper on business strategy. She is a Deputy Chair and Executive member of a number of organisations, and also holds a Master’s Degree in Policy and Administration; and degrees in law and social science. | Dr. Bob Barrett Dr. Bob Barrett lives in the United States. He is a professor in the School of Business with the American Public University, and he also teaches for the American Military University. He teaches and does research in the fields of business, management, strategic management, online education, and business law. He has been working in the consulting field for the past 20 years by advising clients on strategic and knowledge management, as well as training and education. | |
| Prof. Dr Constantin Bratianu Prof. Dr. Constantin Bratianu is Head of the UNESCO Department for Business Administration, and Director of the Research Centre for Intellectual Capital, Academy of Economic Studies, Bucharest, Romania. His areas of interest in teaching and research are: knowledge dynamics, knowledge management, intellectual capital, and strategic management. | Dr John Dumay Dr John Dumay is a Lecturer in Accounting at the Faculty of Economics & Business at the University of Sydney. His main area of research is on the topic of Intellectual Capital from a critical perspective. This has been published in respected publications such as the Journal of Intellectual Capital and Accounting, Auditing and Accountability Journal. His work has also been presented at major international academic conferences. In 2008 his thesis won the Emerald/EFMD Outstanding Doctoral Research Award for Knowledge Management. | |
| Dr. Santanukumar Ghosh Professor of Commerce in the University of Burdwan, India. Associated with teaching and research since 1984. Acted as Supervisor of more than ten research students during last couple of years. More than 30 research papers have been published in various reputed international and national journals. Attended international seminars and conferences in countries like Netherlands, France, Uruguay organised by reputed institutions of international repute. As an ‘Invited Speaker’ attended the international conference on CSR organised by Inter-American Development Bank in December 2009. | Dr. Jussi Okkonen Dr. Okkonen is a Senior Researcher Fellow in the Institute of Business Information Management and Logistics at Tampere University of Technology, Finland. His research focuses on management in the knowledge work context, emphasising the use of performance knowledge work organisations. His current research projects concentrate on managerial tools aimed at increasing organisational performance and developing information management and the competencies of knowledge workers in different organisations. Themes cover e.g. product lifecycle management, use of social media, growth entrepreneurship, and social systems. |  Jussi Okkonen |
| Dr Piotr Wisniewski Dr Wisniewski is Associate Professor of Corporate Finance at the Warsaw School of Economics and has authored a doctoral dissertation on venture capitalism in Central Europe. Dr Wisniewski brings over a decade of executive experience in European financial services; associate membership of the Securities & Investment Institute (now becoming the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment) and membership of the Professional Risk Managers’ International Association. Dr Wisniewski holds a Visiting Professorship in Economics, Finance and Quantitative Methods at the International University of Monaco. His research and teaching interests revolve around intellectual capital, capital markets, creative accounting, behavioural finance and international taxation. |  Piotr Wisniewski |
