Christopher Turner Pro Vice Chancellor, University of Winchester
Economist and Information scientist, Christopher Turner worked initially as
an Information Officer at the British Institute of Management then moved into
research and teaching at Birmingham Polytechnic and then Brighton University
where he became Professor of Information Studies. Professor Turner has
undertaken consultancy for the British Council, Post Office, Probation
Service, Home Office, Citizens Advice Bureaux, a number of NHS Trusts and the
World Bank; he has completed Research on Workforce Planning and Online public
access systems for the British Library and has also worked on projects in
India, Germany, Chile, Singapore, Greece, Malaysia, Hungary, Brazil, Kenya
and Nigeria.
He has published a variety of papers as well as two monographs: Organising Information:
principles and practice and The Dissemination of Information.
He is currently Chair of the Association for Information Management, Chair of
the Hampshire and Solent Learning Hub, a member of the British Library
Advisory Board, President of the North Hampshire Chamber of Commerce and a
board member of a number of other research based trusts.

Mike Hart:
Mike Hart worked for many years in the BusinessSchool at De Montfort University,
Leicester before taking up his present position as Professor of Business and
Informatics at UniversityCollege, Winchester.
He is interested in all aspects of business studies education and has
recently published papers in the areas of e-learning, plagiarism and
communities of practice in several international conferences.

Dr Dan Remenyi: Dr Dan Remenyi is a Visiting Professor in Information
Systems Management at the School of Systems and Data Studies at Trinity College Dublin
and an associated member of Faculty at HenleyManagementCollege
in the United Kingdom.
His original academic interests are in the field of information systems
management and he has researched and been published widely in that area.
Dan Remenyi
In recent years he has taken a
strong interest in research methodology and the sociology of research. He now
works extensively with research candidates and their supervisors at both
doctoral and masters level. He conducts a number of seminars to topics
related to improving effective academic research and obtaining better
results. He has authored or co-authored more than 30 books and some 50
academically refereed papers. He is published in all 4 of the A rated
Journals in the United
Kingdom in Information Systems Management.
He is on the Editorial Advisory Board of ActaCommercii( a general management
journal) and the Journal of Information Technology. He is the editor of the
Electronic Journal of Information Systems Evaluation and advisor to a number
of other electronic journals.

Bones Chris Bones was
appointed Principal of Henley Management College on 1st January 2005. Chris
was previously Group Organisation Effectiveness and Development Director for
Cadbury Schweppes, who he joined in 1999, taking responsibility for Executive
Education and Development Culture, Communications, Change, Knowledge
Management and Capability Development. In his 22 years in business Chris has
worked for Shell, Diageo (both in GrandMet and
Guinness) and Cadbury Schweppes. He started in industrial relations, working
on the UK’s largest oil
refinery and progressing through management teams in brewing, retailing and
property to Board roles covering Europe, Africa
and Asia Pacific. He has significant international business experience and a
reputation as a leading practitioner in executive education and development,
change and HR strategy. Chris writes a regular column for HR magazine and is
a highly regarded speaker at international conferences on change, HR strategy
and employment branding. He is a Board member of the Skills for Government,
the sector skills council for the Civil Service.
